Restimo secures €465,000 investment to drive restaurant digitization

Restimo, a startup specializing in automating the restaurant landscape, announces the successful closure of its seed investment round, securing €465,000 from private investors.

Restimo's innovative approach addresses the longstanding challenge faced by the industry – the proliferation of disparate systems and the resultant inefficiencies dubbed as the "tablet hell". The company's groundbreaking application seamlessly integrates multiple popular systems, offering a holistic solution for restaurants and shops. By consolidating food delivery platforms, online ordering systems, courier services, and POS systems into a single user-friendly interface, Restimo empowers businesses to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences.

Among the investors joining Restimo's journey are business angels, including Bartosz Majewski, co-founder of Casbeg, and Bartłomiej Kiszala, co-founder of Base CRM. Additionally, a consortium of investors from the Sterling Angels association, led by Krzysztof Polak, has expressed confidence in Restimo's vision. It also includes the company’s clients, such as David Cao, owner of the UKIM restaurant.

At the end of last year, we were also nominated for the prestigious Aulers Award in the Rookie of the Year category, which gives us even greater motivation to achieve our next business goals," says Arek Bielecki, co-founder of Restimo. "Our vision is to develop technologies and tools that will help our clients increase sales, optimize operational processes, and above all, focus on their core business. Currently, many activities in restaurants (and beyond) are still done manually and on multiple different systems, so we are at the beginning of our journey," adds Tomasz Marcińczyk, co-founder.

Since its inception, Restimo has garnered acclaim for its industry-leading solution, serving renowned restaurant chains such as Costa Coffee, North Fish, and Thai Wok across over 30 cities in Poland. The application has facilitated over 3 million orders, totaling €50 million, demonstrating its unparalleled value proposition and market traction.

The company has raised a total of €750,000 so far. With this latest investment, it is poised to accelerate its growth trajectory, with plans for international expansion into the Central and Eastern Europe region, as well as Scandinavia.
